Born in Kyoto, Japan, and raised by a Japanese-American father and a Japanese mother, Allisha is bi-lingual and bi-cultural. Allisha obtained a B.A. in Law from Doshisha University and a J.D. from Doshisha Law School in Kyoto, Japan. In 2013, she moved to Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, and worked as a Paralegal/Office Manager.
After earning her U.S. law degree from the University of Hawaiʻi, William S. Richardson School of Law, Allisha joined one of the largest Hawai’i law firms and provided comprehensive support to Japanese corporations and individuals on matters involving general contracts, real estate, commercial law, corporate governance, immigration, and estate planning. She helped clients secure numerous visa petition approvals for engineers, researchers, entertainers, therapists, and in a diverse array of fields. With the strong industry relationship, Allisha regularly receives referrals from banks, accountants, lawyers, and other professionals in Japan and the United States.
In July of 2022, she partnered with Taiki N. Hayakawa, Esq. to create Advis LLLC with the vision to create a bi-lingual and bi-cultural law firm that put quality and customer service above all else. At Advis, she continues to prioritize providing the best legal services tailored to each client’s needs. The relationships with her clients are essential to her, and she feels most rewarded when she helps them solve their legal issues and ease their concerns.
